Amy joined InSite in February 2016, bringing with her 15 years of experience in the real estate and building industries. Her expertise encompasses land and improved property acquisitions, real estate investment, development, appraisal, asset management, and architectural design. Prior to InSite, Amy managed a portfolio of over 200 properties for a real estate investment group and has worked on a variety of building projects ranging from small remodels to new construction high-rise buildings. Amy graduated with honors from Woodbury University and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree. She is a licensed real estate salesperson in Texas and California, and a member of CREW Austin.
Angela oversees the national marketing efforts for InSite. She brings with her over twelve years of experience encompassing both the private and non-profit sector in Marketing, Development and Public Relations.
Angela’s background has led her to work with an array of diverse organizations, ranging from a global, education based non-profit to healthcare and entertainment; working on branding, resource allocation, strategic planning and analysis, digital marketing, program development and professional leadership training. Angela has led over 100,000 people in leadership workshops for students, teaching professionals and administrators around the world since 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis on Inequalities of Race and Gender from San Diego State University.
Benson is the Founder and President of InSite Educational Facility Services. Benson’s first involvement with schools started in 1998 while working as Vice President of Development for a private preschool group overseeing site selection and real estate development. In 2004, he founded InSite as a traditional commercial brokerage firm as well as BPSDG, a California based real estate development company. In 2007, Benson had the opportunity to work with his first charter school in California. Seeing that most schools were poorly represented by either residential real estate brokers or commercial brokers with little to no experience with the complexity of school real estate projects, he formed InSite Educational Facility Services. Benson has worked in various capacities for several real estate and development companies for the past 25 years, both as a broker and a developer. His experience encompasses charter and private school development and site selection and includes development experience in office, retail, and residential projects. His responsibilities have included land acquisition, market research, and site selection for both regional and national tenants, development and entitlement work, construction management, sales, leasing and tenant representation. Benson currently serves on the board of two charter schools.
Claire joined InSite in 2016. She is a project manager with 5 years of experience in Fortune 20 and start-up environments, both domestic and international. In previous organizations, she has assisted with the implementation and completion of several multi-million dollar projects for financial institutions, led teams of engineers and analysts, and performed market research. Claire holds a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral science from the University of Utah.
As partner at InSite Educational Facility Services, Dan specializes in
working with large public and private schools throughout the western United
States. Dan has a vast commercial real estate background. Throughout his
career, he has been retained by clients for site selection, lease and
purchase negotiations, entitlements, financing, development services, site
planning, and construction management. From 2012 to 2017, Dan completed
more educational-related real estate transactions than any other real estate
broker in California. Prior to joining InSite, Dan worked for a
medium-sized development company, gaining firsthand experience in all aspects
of commercial real estate development.
JP has over twenty years of commercial real estate finance and capital markets experience that have provided him with direct exposure to many different property types and loan structures, as well as familiarity with most major U.S. metro property markets. Previous positions include originating and underwriting for national CMBS lending programs and managing a $325 million bridge lending facility used to acquire and stabilize of office properties in select markets. Additional experiences include underwriting and directing purchases of existing commercial real estate loans from money center banks, corporate syndicated debt underwriting and analysis, and commercial property appraisal.
Patrick serves as a Project Coordinator for InSite. Prior to joining InSite, Patrick spent 12 years with one of the nation’s leading financial brokerage firms. He graduated from Metropolitan University of Denver with a degree in English composition. He specializes in data analysis, project management, investment account processing, compliance, and customer relations.
Samantha joined the InSite team in Q4 of 2017 and serves a vital role in supporting transactions as they move through contract to close. A West Texas native, Samantha discovered her passion for real estate after moving to Austin and has since overseen innumerable transactions representing millions of dollars in business. Samantha’s focus is to make sure that all aspects associated with a closing are taken care of promptly to ensure a smooth and timely completion. Her role on the team is to ensure that all parties have an exceptional experience by providing professional support and making certain that details don’t fall through the cracks. Her enthusiasm, motivation and strong work ethic have prepared her to represent InSite’s high standards for customer service and future growth.
Vanessa is a project manager who plays an essential supporting role in the company's West Coast projects. Prior to InSite, Vanessa gained valuable experience in the mortgage industry, where she handled real estate transactions from opening to funding by coordinating with buyers, sellers, escrow agents, surveyors, and real estate agents. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in finance.
